Budweiser
After delivering our load of beer in Jacksonville we got another load of beer to take to Columbia, South Carolina. We got there and had to wait till about 10 trucks got unloaded. It was almost noon before I could put in an empty call. We got a load of tires from Firestone in Graniteville, South Carolina to take to Wentzville, Missouri. We pick up at 03:00 Sunday to deliver Tuesday at 21:00. We are planning to go by home and spend a night in our own bed and our own bath.
I have found that the beer runs suck. I spend as much time getting a load and unloading as I do driving. Besides that I don’t like having anything to do with the beer industry. It ruins too many lives. I was raised in a family that neither drank nor smoked and we didn’t have friend that did. It was only after I was an adult that I experienced the problems that alcohol causes people. I am not opposed to people drinking responsibly but so many don’t. I just don’t want to be a part of it but I guess I am.

- I am a nurse with an interest in living healthier through nutrition and exercise. I work and a full time college student. I have an understanding of the time restrains to prepare health foods and to get the exercise that I need. I was born and lived in Tennessee but moved to Fort Lauderdale when I was twenty one. I lived in Fort Lauderdale for twenty five years and in Vero Beach for five years before returning to Tennessee. I have moved back to Fort lauderdale. I have two sons that I am very proud of. I love my children, and grandchildren. I had worked in the manufacturing (mostly with plastics) industry for over forty years. That has been a lot of who I am. But we are forever changing and it was a time for me to change. At sixty one I went to school and got my license as a practical nurse. I am now in college working toward my RN.

I've been over a year waiting to sleep in my own bed. Miss my dog. Seems like we have made beer runs before. Jack Grins. ;<)
